The inn just opened a wellness spa last August 2017 so you will for sure want to enjoy some of their pampering services while waiting for the amazing lights of Borealis come out.

Choose from eight of their rooms and suites each having their own balcony with a view of Reykjavik’s cityscape. This place is quite popular among millennial travelers.
Reykjavik Residence Hotel, though quite new, is making a name for itself. This is not a typical hotel as they actually offer apartment suites which gives guests a feeling of being home away from home. It has seven apartment suites each having its own private kitchen, comfy beds, and a spacious living room. The hotel is primely located at the city’s best food, shopping, and nightlife spots. If you are a family traveling with kids, this is the perfect place to stay.
Hotel Holt is conveniently located at the center of downtown and is a distinct accommodation in Reykjavik.
It has four room and suite options with each accommodation featuring art collections –a perfect way to start your exploration of Reykjavik fascinating art. This place is owned by a family for over 50 years so it should give you a good introduction to Iceland’s culture, cordiality, and warmth. It’s the ideal place to stay for all kinds of travellers.
Reykjavik Lights got their inspiration from the Northern Lights as each of their rooms are numbered after a specific day in the ancient Icelandic calendar. The rooms, bar, restaurant, and lobby feature a minimalist design reminiscent of Scandinavian style. While this hotel is one of the more secluded places to stay in Reykjavik, it’s still a good location since it’s close to some of the best tourist spots. It’s just the right place for budget travelers.
If you’re looking for an affordable yet convenient place to stay in Reykjavik, choose Hotel Klettur.
This hotel is just near the Hlemmur Square bus station. It has a clean and stylish finish with amazingly designed interiors. Its design was inspired by Iceland’s fascinating rock formations. There is a large boulder that remains on the ground floor which a lot of people believe is an elf’s home. If you’re into the mystical, you might want to stay here.
City Center Hotel has been described as the “best three-star hotel in Iceland” and it’s one of the more affordable places to stay in Reykjavik. It’s conveniently located at the center of Reykjavik in Austurstræti. It has 30 rooms with outstanding features such as soundproof walls, blackout curtains, and a shower room. It’s also near the city’s most popular bars and restaurants.
